Langson Construction Company was started by Mr.Don Langson Sr. in 1951. He built the legendary StoryBook Homes in Southern California and Nevada until his passing in 1977. LCC was continued by his sons, Richard, Don and Bruce Langson. They built many PUDs, single family subdivisions, condos, townhouses, warehouses, bridges, dams, swimming pools and was the largest builder in Texas from 1970-1985.

They built modular homes in Austin Texas utilizing the Palm Harbor factory and employed many of their innovations in their homes. They also developed hi-tech permanent foundations and installation procedures.

Langson was also the inventor of revolutionary energy conversion machines, converting waste heat and pressure into usable green electricity and winning the coveted “Edison Award” for Best Green Technology.

Langson continued the family tradition of building high quality, completely finished factory built homes.

Being a performance driven person, Richard won the World Championship driving a TopFuel to the World Championship in 1993.
